Football Recap: Trego Finds Playoff Glory Versus St. Francis

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trego had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They didn't even let the St. Francis Indians on the board, marking their second-straight 50-0 shutout. Give the Golden Eagles' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Leading Trego to victory were Jack Conness and Ashton Wynn. Conness gained 194 total yards and two touchdowns, while Wynn rushed for 73 yards and four TDs. That's the most rushing touchdowns Wynn has posted since back in October of 2024. Vladon Crawford made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Trego's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points over those games. As for St. Francis, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

As of now, neither Trego nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
