Lumpkin County waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans as they made off with a 13-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Lumpkin County's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lumpkin County will square off against Dawson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they will welcome Shiloh at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
