Soccer Recap: Rancho Dominguez Comes Up Short

Rancho Dominguez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the San Pedro Pirates. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in January.

Rancho Dominguez's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for San Pedro, the win keeps them at an undefeated 17-0-2.

Rancho Dominguez will venture away from home to square off against Banning at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Banning is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season. As for San Pedro, they will face off against Cerritos at 4:30 a.m. on Monday. San Pedro knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Cerritos likes a good challenge.
