Basketball Recap: Sierra Vista Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Sierra Vista won against Garey last Tuesday with 47 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Sierra Vista Dons enjoyed a cozy 47-32 win over the Duarte Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-18 two weeks ago.

Sierra Vista found their leader in sophomore Zaira Eulloque, who went 6 for 11 en route to 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Priscilla Dealtan was another key player, putting up ten points.

Sierra Vista is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.3 points. As for Duarte, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra Vista will host Azusa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Duarte, they will welcome Nogales at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
