Softball Recap: South Forsyth War Eagles vs. Dacula Falcons
South Forsyth had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 2-2 to make it nine. They came up short against the Dacula Falcons, falling 16-8. The War Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
As for Dacula, their win bumped their record up to 2-3. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the match before.
For Dacula's part, Lianna Rodriguez was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Karsyn Plaisance was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
