Football Recap: Sedan Comes Up Short

Sedan fell victim to Flinthills and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of the Mustangs. Having soared to a lofty 52 points in the game before, the Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ethan Zimmerman threw for 88 yards on six of nine attempts.

Beau Hall was nothing short of spectacular for Flinthills: he rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Hall was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.

Sedan now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Flinthills, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Sedan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northeast on October 3. As for Flinthills, they will head out to square off against Northern Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
