Softball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside lost against Harlem back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 17-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was HAYDEN ZIMMERMAN, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that ZIMMERMAN has brought in this season.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Harlem, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Lakeside will square off against Lincoln County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harlem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grovetown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
