Soccer Game Preview: United vs. Minerva

The United Golden Eagles will face off against the Minerva Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. United's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, United didn't have quite enough to beat Crestview and fell 4-3.

The Golden Eagles hit the Rebels with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from RJ Salmen, Gavin Coffee, and Jude Andrea.

Meanwhile, Minerva came up short against Canton Central Catholic on Saturday, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Minerva were already down 4-0.

United's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Minerva, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-3 record this season.
