Basketball Game Preview: Upper Perkiomen Indians vs. Pottstown Trojans

Upper Perkiomen and Pottstown are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Upper Perkiomen Indians will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Pottstown Trojans at 5:30 p.m. Neither Upper Perkiomen nor Pottstown posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Last Tuesday, Upper Perkiomen had to suffer through a 48-10 loss at the hands of Pope John Paul II. The Indians have struggled against Pope John Paul II recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Pottstown came up short against Pottsgrove on Tuesday and fell 36-24.

Upper Perkiomen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pottstown, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Upper Perkiomen against Pottstown in their previous meeting back in February, as the team secured a 52-22 win. Will Upper Perkiomen repeat their success, or does Pottstown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
