Basketball Game Preview: Chaparral Firebirds vs. Saguaro Sabercats + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Chaparral Firebirds will head out on the road to face off against the Saguaro Sabercats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Saguaro took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Chaparral, who comes in off a win.

Chaparral is headed out to face Saguaro after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Firebirds blew past Arcadia, posting a 90-7 win. The Firebirds not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 4, 2024 (when they won 104-6).

Meanwhile, Saguaro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 59-46 to Lee Williams.

Chaparral couldn't quite get it done against Saguaro in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 as they fell 59-49. Can the Firebirds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
