Recap: Los Osos Grizzlies vs. Etiwanda Eagles
It was a good run, but the Los Osos Grizzlies unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 81-48 loss at the hands of Etiwanda. Los Osos was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-17.
Jackie Polk and Tiyana Saunders certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Polk scored 20 points, while Saunders scored 13 points along with two blocks.
Los Osos' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-7. As for Etiwanda, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Osos will take on the Huskies at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Etiwanda, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Regents at 4:45 p.m. on February 1st. St. Lucy's is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
