It was fun while it lasted, but Winters's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Thursday. The match between them and the Sutter Huskies didn't end well, with the Winters Warriors falling 52-34. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Winters still got an impressive performance from Jordan Tucker, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Maci Dodic, who scored eight points.

Torrence Harter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sutter, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 20 rebounds. Those 20 boards gave Harter a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Baustia, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 15 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Winters fell to 3-1. As for Sutter, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Winters didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-42 win against Roseville on the 13th. As for Sutter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-62 victory against Colusa on the 13th.
