Softball Recap: Worth County Comes Up Short

Worth County fell victim to Bacon County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 16-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Worth County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Bacon County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Worth County will challenge Crisp County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bacon County, they will face off against Tattnall County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
