Basketball Game Preview: Tyrone Golden Eagles vs. Penns Manor Comets

The Tyrone Golden Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Penns Manor Comets at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Tyrone was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-54 to Clearfield. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Bison: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Penns Manor was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 54-48 to River Valley.

Penns Manor's loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Tyrone, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Tyrone came up short against Penns Manor in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 42-37. Can Tyrone avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
