Softball Recap: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against O'Neill, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Highway 91, sneaking past 8-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Logan View/Scribner-Snyder also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Marah Fischer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September of 2024.

In other batting news, Avah Ruwe was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sage Peters, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Highway 91, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-2 victory against Pierce on the 30th. As for Highway 91, they will venture away from home to take on Blue River at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
