Football Recap: Thief River Falls Victorious + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Grand Forks, Thief River Falls was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They slipped by the Park Rapids Panthers 29-28. The victory continues a trend for the Prowlers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Park Rapids' loss came despite strong showings from Carter Hirt and Kaden Gartner. Hirt threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns, while Gartner picked up 101 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Thief River Falls' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Park Rapids, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thief River Falls will challenge Perham at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Park Rapids, they will square off against Pillager at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies' defense has only allowed 11.9 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
