Football Recap: Vance County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Vance County's offense. They were beaten by the Knightdale Knights 43-0 on Friday. The Vipers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

A big part of Knightdale's win came down to the chemistry between Jamel Perry and his top target Jalen Moore. Perry threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes while Moore picked up 170 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those 329 passing yards gave Perry a new career-high. A healthy portion of Perry's aerial production (80 yards to be exact) also went to Dawson Mack, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Vance County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Knightdale, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.
