Recap: South Tahoe Vikings vs. Wooster Colts
The South Tahoe Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Wooster 66-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory South Tahoe has posted since December 23, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Tahoe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Wolfe, who scored 17 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Campbell Mathews, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
South Tahoe is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Wooster, they bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Tahoe will take on Sparks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wooster will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against North Valleys at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. North Valleys is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
