Buchholz has gone 8-2 against Forest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bobcats will challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Buchholz is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
If Buchholz beats Forest with 11 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Bobcats were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Gainesville on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Wyatt Clarke was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits in 19 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Reed Thomas looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
Back at the plate, Blake Brewer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Stuart Ding, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Forest rose to the challenge on Monday. They skirted past the Knights 5-4.
The team relied heavily on Daniel Wilson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Buchholz pushed their record up to 24-1 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Forest, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Buchholz hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Buchholz's way against Forest in their previous meeting last Monday, as Buchholz made off with a 9-0 victory. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
