Softball Recap: Carrollton's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Having lost for the first time this season, Carrollton fell to 5-1. As for Jackson County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Carrollton will take on Northwest Whitfield in a tournament on Saturday. As for Jackson County, they will face off against Taylor County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
