Softball Recap: Columbia Eagles vs. Drew Charter
Columbia had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Drew Charter on Tuesday, falling 20-7. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
Parker-Hailey Thomas was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedi Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Drew Charter's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3.
