Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten goals.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Looking ahead, Washington will square off against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Washington has given up an average of 8.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, they will welcome Fellowship Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
