Football Recap: Goldwater Takes a Loss

Goldwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Flagstaff Eagles 42-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 55-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Goldwater's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Flagstaff, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goldwater will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Peoria at 6:00 p.m. on October 7. As for Flagstaff, they will challenge Page at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
