Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Abby Mayfield stepped things up a notch to give Fossil Ridge the 'W'. Mayfield went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. That double was her first of the season.

Looking ahead, Mayfield and Fossil Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Windsor at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The SaberCats will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 50 places lower in Colorado), but they're not letting that get them down.
