Lee's Summit lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Staley, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Falcons a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lee's Summit and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Staley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lee's Summit will take on Raymore-Peculiar at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
