Recap: Independence 76ers vs. Live Oak Acorns
The Independence 76ers lost against the Live Oak Acorns on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Independence took a 38-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Live Oak.
Kathliyah Clement continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Live Oak, scoring 19 points.
Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Live Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Independence will challenge Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Live Oak, they will head out on the road to take on Ann Sobrato at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
