Basketball Recap: Alyssa Altemus and Allie Mumau Secure Win for Penns Manor

Penns Manor entered their tilt with West Shamokin on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the West Shamokin Wolves 48-32. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Wolves are ranked 478th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Penns Manor was led to victory by Allie Mumau and Alyssa Altemus. Mumau dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards, while Altemus posted 13 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Altemus is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Josslyn Bennett, who had eight points.
