Softball Recap: Roff Wins Going Away Against Stonewall

Roff barely beat Stonewall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Longhorns on Thursday. Considering the Tigers have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Roff and bumps their season record up to 7-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Stonewall, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roff will host Stuart at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stonewall, they will be playing at home against Byng at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
