Soccer Recap: Sierra Vista Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Sierra Vista was not quite Garey's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Garey Vikings by a score of 1-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Sierra Vista has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13-1 record this season. As for Garey, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra Vista will welcome Duarte at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Duarte's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
