Football Recap: Emporia Skates Past Field Kindley with Ease

Emporia never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Field Kindley Golden Tornado 50-0. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 47-28 loss the last time these two teams met.

Emporia now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Field Kindley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Emporia will head out on the road to face off against Topeka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Field Kindley, they will be playing at home against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
