Basketball Recap: Mountain House Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mountain House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-37 heartbreaker at the hands of Oakdale. Mountain House was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Oakdale apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Mountain House's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Oakdale, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10.

Mountain House and Oakdale could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Mustangs (ranked 521st) will meet East Union (ranked 136th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oakdale will face off against Patterson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (489 vs. 214).
