The Central Dauphin Rams had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 58-26 victory over Penn Manor on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Central Dauphin, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Central Dauphin was led to victory by Olivia Green and Lauren Cavoli. Green scored 9 points along with 11 rebounds and 4 steals, while Cavoli scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. Alexis Ferguson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Central Dauphin's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Penn Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Central Dauphin will square off against Central York at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Penn Manor will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ephrata at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
