Basketball Game Preview: Community Charter Titans vs. Triumph Charter Jaguars

Community Charter is 2-8 against Triumph Charter since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Community Charter Titans just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Triumph Charter Jaguars at 3:00 p.m.

Community Charter is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Reseda on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Community Charter had to suffer through a 56-14 loss at the hands of Reseda. The Titans were down 49-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Triumph Charter entered their tilt with Animo Pat Brown on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Gryphons to the tune of 43-10.

Triumph Charter is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.9 points per game. As for Community Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Community Charter lost to Triumph Charter on the road by a decisive 27-13 margin when the teams last played last Monday. Can Community Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
