Basketball Recap: Ocean View Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ocean View Christian can now relate to. They took a hard 33-15 fall against the School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 55-19 loss two weeks ago.

Montse Acosta was Ocean View Christian's leading scorer, having posted six points. Kiley Hohenberg held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology had a senior duo take command as Syra IIaqua posted 12 points and Anicka Redondo had 12 points. Redondo continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Ocean View Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Ocean View Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they have already played their next contest, a 31-30 win against Warner on the 25th.
