Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask North Iberville). They managed  a  50-44 win over the St. John Eagles  on Thursday. The Bears'  victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet  this season.
 Justice Roy was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 210 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 60 yards and one  score on only six carries. That's the most  passing yards  he has posted since back in October of 2024.
 Roy was just one part of a punishing run game: North Iberville was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 281  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in three consecutive  contests.
North Iberville's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for St. John, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
 North Iberville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  48-0  victory against White Castle on the 17th. As for St. John, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  57-35  defeat against Ascension Catholic on the 16th.
