Soccer Recap: Humboldt Takes a Loss

Humboldt managed to slip by Webster City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Lynx on Monday, falling 9-2. Humboldt have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Humboldt's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-1. As for Webster City, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Humboldt will head out to face off against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Humboldt will need to watch out since Garner-Hayfield/Ventura have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. As for Webster City, they will host Charles City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Webster City are facing Charles City at the right time seeing as Charles City are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
