Softball Recap: South Forsyth Takes a Loss

It was a classic North v. South duel when South Forsyth challenged North Forsyth on Thursday. The War Eagles lost 9-2 to the Raiders. The match marked the War Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

South Forsyth has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for North Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
