Football Recap: Owings Mills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Owings Mills Golden Eagles came up short against the Franklin Indians on Friday and fell 14-6. The Golden Eagles gained 114 more yards on the day, but it was the Indians that made the best use of them.

Anthony Bland Jr threw for 122 yards on six of 13 attempts. Jacob Richardson was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards.

Franklin can attribute much of their success to James Joseph, who rushed for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Owings Mills' loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Franklin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Owings Mills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 32-7 defeat against New Town on the 26th. As for Franklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-0 victory against Woodlawn on the 26th.
