Baseball Recap: Phillipsburg Victorious

It's playoff time, and Phillipsburg had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Columbia Cougars on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1.

Phillipsburg's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Columbia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-18 record this season.

Phillipsburg will face off against Ridge on Friday. Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
