Softball Recap: Collinsville Takes a Loss

If Collinsville was riding high fresh off their 14-1 takedown of Del City on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals fell just short of the Coweta Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Coweta, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-17 record this season.

Collinsville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-6 win against Del City on the 9th. Coweta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
