Soccer Recap: Upland Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Lucy's on Thursday, Upland came back down to earth. The Highlanders/Scots fell just short of the Los Osos Grizzlies by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Los Osos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in January.

Upland has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Los Osos, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Upland will challenge rival Etiwanda at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Los Osos is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Lucy's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
