Recap: Sharpsville Blue Devils vs. Hickory Hornets
The Sharpsville Blue Devils entered their tilt with the Hickory Hornets with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Sharpsville managed a 49-44 win over Hickory on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Sharpsville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Sharpsville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooklyn Ramsey out in front who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Macie Steiner, who scored 15 points.
Sharpsville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Hickory, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Sharpsville will head out on the road to take on Sharon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hickory, they will be playing at home against Maplewood at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Maplewood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hickory in Pennsylvania (Maplewood is ranked 230th, while Hickory is ranked 465th).
