Soccer Game Preview: West vs. St. Mary's

West is 0-10 against St. Mary since January of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The West Wolfpack will welcome the St. Mary's Rams at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, West turned things around against Kimball on Wednesday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Wolfpack have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Flames a 1-0 shutout. The Rams' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

St. Mary's is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. West's draw makes their record 4-11-4 this season.
