Softball Game Preview: Temple Tigers vs. Heard County Braves

Temple is 2-8 against Heard County since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Braves at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Temple's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Haralson County on Tuesday.

East Coweta hit Heard County with a 12-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Braves lost 16-3 to the Indians. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Heard County's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Temple, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Temple suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Heard County when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
