Soccer Game Preview: West Ranch vs. Castaic

The West Ranch Wildcats will face off against the Castaic Coyotes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

West Ranch's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Golden Valley. Considering the Wildcats' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Castaic was forced to settle for a draw. They and Saugus finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

Leila Sadra was the only thing that stood between Castaic and a shutout considering she scored both of Castaic's goals, bringing her season total up to eight goals.

Castaic's draw gives them a new season record of 7-4-1. As for West Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-2.
