Basketball Game Preview: JW North Huskies vs. Hemet Bulldogs

The JW North Huskies and the Hemet Bulldogs will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

JW North lost 54-30 to Rancho Verde on Tuesday. The Huskies have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Hemet waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They secured a 52-46 W over the Cougars.

Hemet's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for JW North, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

JW North was dealt a bruising 61-15 defeat at the hands of Hemet when the teams last played two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hemet's Ruby Lindsey, who went 10 of 20 on her way to 21 points and five steals.
