Autumn Kligerman has been named player of the year. "Easily the most productive offensive weapon Amesbury had all season. Averaged .410 and lead the Indians in multiple categories this season, including triples (6), home runs (6), RBIs (35) and an impressive slugging percentage of .807 leading to an OPS of 1.260. Kligerman missed the first game of her final season, but that did not stop her from having a very impressive season throughout the Cape Ann and Division 3. Autumn was so impressive that there were only 2 games all season she did not receive a hit in. Perhaps most incredible was her 6 RBI performance in the game against Rockport on May 14 that saw the Indians win 10-5. Out of 23 games, she had multiple RBIs in 9 of them and only had 5 games without an RBI. Kligerman certainly ended her 4-year career as a varsity softball player in style, helping the Indians to receive there first North Division 3 Sectional title since 2005. She is very deserving of this honor and will be missed dearly next season for the Indians"
