The Beverly Panthers baseball team (Beverly, MA), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA)
The Sachems now hold a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swampscott for a non-league outing on Thursday, June 10. Saugus will confront a Big Blue team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Big Blue record now stands at 5-8.
