The Cambridge Gryphons crushed the visiting Somerville Highlanders baseball team by a count of 14-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Gryphons now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medford for a non-league bout on Friday, April 24. Cambridge will face a Mustangs team coming off a 18-5 non-league win over South Boston (South Boston, MA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.
Next, the Highlanders face the Everett Crimson Tide (Everett, MA) in a Greater Boston bout, on Friday, April 24. Somerville will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Crimson Tide enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Lynn, MA).
