Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) and the host Sci-Tech CyberCats (Springfield, MA), saw Central's basketball squad hold off Sci-Tech by a count of 61-56.
With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 27. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Minnechaug Regional lost 67-64 in their recent league challenge against Chicopee (Chicopee, MA)
Next up, the CyberCats play the Commerce Red Raiders (Springfield, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 27. Sci-Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record.
